Occupational Noise & Vibration Safety Assessment

Mainwave provides independent occupational noise and vibration measurement and assessment for a wide range of workplace environments — from the cabins of heavy vehicles and trains to machinery control rooms, airport runways, factory floors and office spaces across Melbourne and Victoria.

Assessments determine noise and vibration exposure levels for workers and operators in line with the requirements of WorkSafe Victoria and the relevant Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 1269 (Occupational Noise Management) and AS 2670 (Evaluation of Human Exposure to Whole-Body Vibration).

Where exposure levels exceed action or limit values, Mainwave provides practical mitigation recommendations including sound absorption treatments, engineering attenuation solutions and specification of appropriate PPE hearing protection classes — ensuring employers meet their duty of care and workers are protected.
